Dr. Eghtesad attended the Faculty of Medicine of Shiraz University in Iran. After completing his internship and residency at Shiraz University, he completed a tranche scholarship at Pittsburg University Medical Center and the University of Pittsburgh Children's Hospital. Dr. Eghtesad was appointed to the Cleveland Clinic in 2005.
