About the Doctor
Dr. Federico Aucejo is the Director of the Liver Cancer Program and Director of Surgery for the Liver Tumor Clinic in the Department of General Surgery on Cleveland Clinic's main campus. He joined the staff after finishing a multiorgan transplant fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in 2006. Dr. Aucejo holds a bachelor of general surgery license in Ohio and Argentina.
Dr. Aucejo's areas of expertise are liver surgery oncology, complex liver surgery, and laparoscopic liver surgery for patients presenting with liver cancer or liver tumors.
Dr. Aucejo was born in Argentina. He received his medical degree from Favaloro University in Buenos Aires, Argentina with distinction. He then continued his medical education at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City on a multiple organ transplant scholarship.
Dr. Aucejo has many articles and articles in leading medical journals. He also made presentations at national and international congresses.
