Dr. Steven Campbell is a professor of surgery, Director of the Residency Program, and a member of the Department of Urological Oncology at the Glickman Institute of Urology and Kidney at the Cleveland Clinic. He completed his medical degrees at the University of Chicago. He completed his urology residency at the Cleveland Clinic and then a urological oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Campbell's special interests include renal cell carcinoma, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, treatment-induced osteoporosis, and tumor angiogenesis. Dr. Campbell also has American Urological Disease Foundation and Kimmel Research Fellowship awards. He is a former member of the American Board of Urology Examination Committee. Dr. Campbell is active in laparoscopic surgery for the kidney and bladder and robotic surgery for the prostate, as well as new techniques for partial nephrectomy.
