Dr. William Carey is a senior hepatologist in the Department of Gastroenterology at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Dr. Carey also serves as Director of the Cleveland Clinic's Center for Continuing Medical Education. Dr. Carey specializes in internal medicine and gastroenterology and liver disease, including the medical management of liver transplantation and endoscopy.
After graduating from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Dr. Carey completed his residency in internal medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in San Francisco. He also completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic.
